Call for Nominations
The Staff Senate is one of the ways staff can participate in shared governance at Virginia Tech. The Staff Senate is currently seeking nominations of staff employees to serve as representatives for the staff on University commissions and committees, and as Staff Senate officers.

If you cannot access the link, please email Judy Taylor (email@example.com) and Tasia Persson (firstname.lastname@example.org) to receive a nomination form by email. Nominations must be submitted by April 23, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. All nominees will be contacted by email with additional information. Elections will be held in Staff Senate in late April 2021. Terms begin on July 1, 2021 and are three years in duration unless otherwise stated.

The Staff Senate is one of the ways all salaried staff (University and Classified) and regular wage staff can participate in shared governance at Virginia Tech. The Senate is made up of elected representatives from each college and administrative area of the university.
The Senate normally meets on the third Thursday of each month, from Noon-1:00 pm. All non-faculty salaried and non-student wage staff are welcome to attend any meeting.
